New Hampshire Hiking Trails Zine

Beginning in the spring of 2020, when I discovered my love for hiking, I began documenting beautiful moments from the mountains I explored. Three years later, I have compiled all of my documentation into this single issue New Hampshire Hiking Trails Zine. Using collage and photography, this zine tells the story of the personal significance, origin, and function of hiking trails, and how I found comfort in the unknown forests of the beautiful New England state.

This piece was printed on the Risograph printer to incorporate the natural colors and textures of the great outdoors while still creating sustainably. Through many iterations and critiques, this zine went from a short three-spreads to a full-length zine exploring the themes of hiking. My hope for this piece is to inspire viewers to enter the unknown outdoors and experience the hiking trails of New Hampshire for themselves.
