Advertising & Art Direction

During my advertising and art direction class in the fall 2022 semester, we were given practical projects to prepare us for the professional world of advertising. The first project shown is a campaign for Camelbak backpacks, relating to the common dislike of being outdoors and becoming dehydrated. After asking the question “what does this brand stands for” I decided “hydrate anywhere” was fitting for the brand and the hate of becoming dehydrated when water may be out of reach for people without the Camelbak backpack.

This first project for Camelbak was later submitted and accepted into the student’s Ads of the World website and is now shown there. Check it out through this link!

The second project in this class was inspired by Taylor Swift’s new hit album “Midnights”. This special edition cookie series for Insomnia Cookies plays off her song titles and lyrics to create the perfect late-night snack to listen to the new album and attempt to buy tickets for her Eras tour. To announce the new series, also created was a social media countdown using the cookies as clocks to represent Taylor Swift’s easter eggs she uses to announce important dates to fans.
